Chicago Bulls at Cleveland Cavaliers Betting Odds

Opening Betting Lines: Bulls -+10.5 / Cavaliers -10.5 O/U 191

Tonight in Game 2 of an Eastern Conference 1st round playoff series the Cleveland Cavaliers host the Chicago Bulls. The Cavs won Game 1 pretty comfortably and they won with their shut-down defense holding the Bulls to only 83 points. Shaq is back in the lineup and the Bulls will have to figure out how to rebound better and play better defense or they will be heading home down 0-2 in their series.

This season the Cavs are 35-6 at home and 39-42-1 ATS and the Bulls are 17-24 on the road and 42-88-2 ATS.

In Game 1 of the series the Cavs beat the Bulls 96-83 on Saturday.

The Bulls were out-rebounded by 12 in Game 1 and they gave up 13 offensive rebounds, which they cannot do tonight. The Bulls also had trouble on offense both shooting the ling ball (1/7 from 3-point land) and they had 12 shots blocked. No Bulls starter hit a 3-point shot in the Game 1 loss.

Derrick Rose had a huge Game 1 going for 28 points, but he will need help on offense in this game. The other 4 starters scored 38 points on a combined 17/44 shooting. That aint gonna get it done against Cleveland.

There is some bad blood in this series after some heated exchanges in Game 1 so this will be a very physical game.

You know King James is going to get his points, but in Game 1 he only scored 24, but Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison combined to score 34 points and Jamison pulled down 10 rebounds.

Joakim Noah and Brad Miller have to hit the glass in this game, as that is the key for them. Cavs' reserve Anderson Varejao had a monster Game 1 with 15 boards including 4 offensive rebounds.

The Bulls are not a high scoring team so if they do not play good defense they will lose. In Game 1 the Cavs shot over 46% from the field.

The Bulls have to take advantage of the Cavs when they turn the ball over, which they did not do in Game 1 even though Cleveland had 18 turnovers.

The Cavs had way too many easy buckets in Game 1 and the Bulls need to make them work for their points tonight.

Chicago is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 road games, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a road underdog, has an Under record of 4-0 in their last 4 games, and an Over record of 7-1 in their last 8 playoff games.

Cleveland is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games, 3-8 in their last 11 games, and has an Over record of 4-1 in their last 5 playoff games when they are the favorite.

In 5 of the last 6 games between these 2 teams the total has gone Under.

Our Selection : The Cavs were an easy 13 point winner in the first game of the series. They got off to a fast start opening up a 14 point first quarter lead and played even the rest of the game. I think that the Bulls would be more prepared this contest and should be able to stay within double digits. Take the Bulls +11 at Bodog.
