Opening Line: Cavaliers -1 / Spurs +1 O/U 194.5
Time: 8:30 PM EST Friday March 26, 2010 on Fox Sports Southwest
Tonight in a non-conference match up the San Antonio Spurs host the streaking Cleveland Cavaliers. No Shaq, no problem, as the Cavs have kept winning without the Diesel in the middle winning 8 in a row and going 9-1 in their last 10 games. The Spurs are coming off a loss and are 6-4 in their last 10 games.
Cleveland has the top seed in the East, pretty much, locked up and while the Spurs will make the playoffs unless they implode in the last couple of weeks are currently tied with Portland for the 8th and last playoff spot in the West. The will look to move past the Blazers so they will not have to play the defending champion Lakers in the 1st round of the playoffs.
This season the Spurs are 25-11 at home and 37-34-1 ATS and the Cavaliers are 26-11 on the road and are also 37-34-1 ATS.
Both teams played their last games on Wednesday, but with different results, as the Spurs were beat by the L.A. Lakers 92-83 while the Cavs beat the New Orleans Hornets 105-92.
Cleveland has really had the Spurs' number in the past few years, as they have beat them 8 straight times including their last 4 in San Antonio.
Tim Duncan (18.2 ppg 10.3 rpg) has to play well tonight, but he only had 6 points on 2/12 shooting in San Antonio's last game, but he did have 12 boards. In his last 2 games against the Cavs Duncan has only averaged 9.5 ppg.
LeBron James (29.8 ppg) did not play in the last win over the Spurs, but in his last 3 games in San Antonio he has averaged 30.7 ppg. King James will get his points, but the Spurs' D has to keep Antawn Jamison (18.9 ppg) and Mo Williams (15.6 ppg) from scoring big tonight.
In their last loss to the Cavs Manu Ginobili had a season-high 38 points and since he has been a starter with Tony Parker out with an injury he has averaged 23.2 ppg.
The Spurs will be facing a Cavs' defense that ranks 3rd in the league in opponents' points allowed (94.7 ppg).
Ginobili, Richard Jefferson (12 ppg), and George Hill (12.3 ppg) will have to hit their open jumpers tonight so Duncan has room to operate in the lane.

Our Selection : Take Cleveland -1
Dallas Mavericks at Miami Heat Odds 6-12
The Mavs are up 3-2 in this series heading to South Beach and for the Heat to force Game 7 they will have to play better in the 4th quarter, especially LeBron James. 5Dimes has the hometown Heat as 5-point favorites in Game 6 with a total of 187.
