This season Purdue is 8-0 at home and 7-6-1 ATS and Ohio State is 1-4 on the road and 6-6 ATS.

Tonight in a Big 10 match up the 6th ranked Purdue Boilermakers host the Ohio State Buckeyes. Purdue had won their first 14 games of the season before losing to Wisconsin in their last game. The Buckeyes have not started Big 10 play well to say the least, as they are only 1-3 in the conference. OSU only has one win on the road this season, 1-4 overall, and that win was in their 4th game of the season.

In their last game Purdue lost to Wisconsin 73-66 on Saturday and Ohio State lost to Minnesota 73-62 also on Saturday.

Both of these teams are almost dead even in terms of points scored and points allowed per game.

Purdue has a great inside-outside game with G E'Twaun Moore (16.9 ppg), F Robbie Hummel (15.1 ppg), and F/C JaJuan Johnson (14.2 ppg). Purdue has the size advantage in this game and if Hummel (6.9 rpg) and Johnson (7.2 rpg) win the battle of the boards the Boilermakers should have no problem winning this game.

Ohio State does have 4 players that are averaging in double figures led by Evan Turner (17.5 ppg 10.3 rpg), but this game is not a good match up for them. Turner is the tallest player in the starting lineup for the Buckeyes and he is only 6'7". They will have a hard time keeping Hummel (6'8") and Johnson (6'10") from scoring in the paint and dominating the boards.

The Buckeyes will have to shoot lights out tonight to win this game.

Turner is the big gun for the Buckeyes, but he missed most of December with a back injury and Ohio State is still trying to find their rhythm after getting their best player back on the court.

Ohio State has played a killer early Big 10 schedule, as 4 of their first 5 conference games are on the road including this one and if they lose this game they will be 1-4 in the Big 10.

Ohio State is 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games, 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games, and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog. Purdue is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following an ATS loss, 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games as a home favorite of 7.0-12.5, and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games at home against a team with a losing road record
