This game is for all the marbles, as the National Championship will be decided by the Texas Longhorns vs. Alabama Crimson Tide in the BCS title game. Both of these teams are undefeated and this is the first year since 2005 that 2 undefeated teams will be facing each other for the National Championship. Both teams are solid on both sides of the ball and scoring may be at a premium for this match up. The Tide feature Mark Ingram, who won the Heisman trophy this season, and the Longhorns feature 1st team All American QB Colt McCoy, who leads the Longhorns and their dynamic passing offense. Ingram will be facing a tough Texas rushing defense that led the nation only allowing 62.15 rushing yards per game. This season Texas ranked 4th in the nation in scoring averaging 40.7 points per game.

Clemson Tigers August 17/2010
QB Kyle Parker signed a deal with the Colorado Rockies shortly before last night's deadline, which included a $1.4 million signing bonus. Parker gave up about 800 thousand to return to Clemson for this season, and will give up even more should he decide to play football beyond this season. This most likely will be his final season as the Tiger's starting QB.
Miami Hurricanes August 16/2010
Miami WR LaRon Byrd missed Monday's practice with an undisclosed leg injury. He is expected to undergo an MRI this afternoon. Rumours have have been reported that Byrd was seen on crutches around campus.
Oregon Ducks August 15/2010
Oregon RB LaMichael James tweaked his knee in Saturday's practice after getting his foot caught in the turf but says he's ok. A knee injury to James would be devastating to the Ducks running game.
UNLV Rebels August 14/2010
Rebels quarterback Mike Clausen suffered an ankle injury at practice that ended with him being carted off the field. It is not known how serious the injury was.
Colorado Buffaloes August 12/2010
RB Rodney Stewart has been limited in practice this week after being involved in a car accident over the weekend. His limited participation was only precautionary according to coach Dan Hawkins. Stewart is expected to carry the bulk of the workload with limited options in the back field.
