The Humanitarian Bowl may be a fun one to watch, as both Bowling Green and Idaho have passing offenses that rank in the top 12 in the nation. Idaho will have a big home field advantage, as the game is being playing in Boise, Idaho. The Vandals sputtered at the end of the season losing 4 of their last 5 games. Idaho only played one ranked team this season and in that game they were crushed by Boise State losing 63-25. Bowling Green ended the season on fire winning their last 4 games. The Falcons were 0-2 against teams ranked in the top 25 this season.
This season Idaho was 7-5 ATS and Bowling Green was also 7-5 ATS.
In their last game Bowling Green beat Toledo 38-24 while Idaho lost to Utah State 52-49.
Bowling Green has the nation's 52nd ranked offense and they are all about the aerial attack, as their passing offense ranks 8th in the nation, but their rushing offense only ranks 114th. The Falcons only average just over 81 rushing yards per game so they will have to move the chains through the air to win. The Falcons are led by QB Tyler Sheehan (3,665 yds 23 TD 6 INT). Sheehan's main target is WR Freddie Barnes (138 rec 1,551 yds 16 TD), who led the nation this season in receptions and was a Biletnikoff Award finalist for the best WR in the country. Idaho only has the nation's 105th ranked defense and what'' even worse is that their passing defense ranks 114th.
Idaho has the nation's 10th ranked defense and they have a solid rushing offense, ranked 49th, and passing offense, ranked 12th. The Vandals are led by QB Nathan Enderle (2,666 yds 18 TD 9 INT) and his two main targets of WR's Max Komar and Daniel Hardy each averaged at least 16 yards per reception this season. The rushing attack is led by the RB duo of DeMaundray Woolridge and Princeton McCarty and if these two can run the ball it will really be an advantage, as it will keep the Bowling Green offense on the sidelines. Bowling Green only has the nation's 83rd ranked defense and while they are legit at defending the pass their run defense only ranks 103rd in the nation.
This game should be a shootout, as each team has a great offense and a weak defense.
Our Selection : Two teams going in the opposite direction. The Green Falcons have won their last 4 while the Vandals have lost 3 in a row and 4 of their last 5. Take Bowling Green -1
