Replacement Referee's Take The Heat Sept 28/2012 It was unfortunate that the replacement ref's for the start of the NFL season faced blatant disrespect from media, fans, players and coaches. Although they were under-qualified they were really stuck in a no-win situation. What should have been the opportunity of a lifetime ended up becoming a national joke. Outside of what were obvious mistakes it appeared that every call no matter how minute was under some serious scrutiny by everyone. It was easy to see that the ref's were easily intimidated by players and coaches but things continued downhill from week to week. I think these guys did a great job considering they were thrown into an impossible situation. Kudos's to them!
Philadelphia Eagles 21/2011
Eagles QB Kevin Kolb has made it quite clear he wants to be traded. Don't think that the Eagles aren't going to just give Kolb away. Having two quarterbacks they trust gives a team a huge advantage in a league where so many teams are desperate for quarterback help. It still seems more likely that the Eagles will trade Kolb if they can find the right deal for him.
Washington Redskins April 21/2011
QB Donovan McNabb was been twice been linked to a potenial trade to the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are just one of the many teams that are interested in McNabb. But obviously, no deal could be made until there is a new collective bargaining agreement is in place.
