NFL FUTURE BETTING

One of the more popular forms of betting on sports is placing a future wager. This is a bet placed in advance of a sports event. Once you have researched the information you need to make an educated future bet you need to find the true value in the bet. Look for a team who was average the prior year but have added new strengths to their roster that makes them a possible contender.

Many amateur bettors tend to take a future bet on the preseason favorite. Unfortunately the payoffs for these teams are relatively small and a much larger bet is required to make it worthwhile. This isn't necessarily the right thing to do as any team can be a contender and wagering large amounts of money on the favorite could be a fatal mistake.
